How I create my scallop crinkle ruffled distress smooch flower etc etc lol! Plus the Finished card!

I had some difficult arranging the order of the photos but they're all in the correct order now! I've seen this tutorial before on youtube a few years ago, I used to do it with the cricut but I've become procuttlebug ever since my cousin got me into spellbinders, the cricut is still good for other things but i sooo prefer spellbinders now lol! I've done these to put them in my ceramics projects for class, my yellow with orange marmalade distress ink totally fooled everyone into thinking they were real dried up flowers, until the saw the shimmer lol.

I used the second small size of the beaded oval, you can use that or the scalloped oval doesn't matter and no need to emboss them with the rubber mat either. Cut about 6-8 depending how full you want it. I poked a hole through each one with my double sided embosser/ piercer thingy, and I distressed it with dusty concord, the dark purple color. Then I spritzed each of them with water and Smooch mixed berry spray (1.99 at Blitsy.com) and crumbled them. Don't wet them too much just a light spritz and use slightly thicker paper so it doesn't tear.

To speed it up a bit heat dry them with an embosser gun(btw my nails match the flower lol! That's the magnetic nail polish from ebay lol!) Afterwards uncrumble them and push a small brad through the flower, this way you can stack them all up, then close the brad.

It should look likethe first photo after you stack it up then one by one crumble the flower up layer by layer smoosh it so it will  look like the second photo, you should have like a small ball. After wards spritz it with a little more water or glitter mist of your choice (I used the mixed berry spray again, I have a purple tattered angels one but I wanted to try this one since it just came in lol). Afterwards uncrumble and it should look like the last photo :D

Using the smallest scalloped I repeated the entire process, I used six of them, they came out so tiny and cute! The spritz spray I used is electric blue, and the pad color is called broken china

The finished card! I did it for my friend, she loves cats as well :D The stamps is from Lablance stamps, I got them on www.scrap-mart.com it was on sale 40 off! I decorated it with the stickles, used some powder pearl chalk on the rim, tombow markers, and sakura glaze pen for the blue flower and kitty's eyes! The leaves are also spellbinders, and the shape that the kitty is cut out with is an embossed spellbinder cut out.

Mother's day cards!

These are some Mother's day cards I did earlier this month, totally forgot to post them! I did more but didn't take photos of them. The last one with the corset is for my Mom :D That same stamp plus the one with the orange doll is from rubber necker they have great stamps and this awesome deal where you buy several stamps and you get on free of your choice! I used spellbinders, martha stewart punchers, and marianne dies for these guys. I haven't used my cricut in a while, will do so hopefully when I finish/start several albums.

Random post, some polyclay necklaces and about the Graham avenue street festival :D

These are some poly clay pendants I made using stamps and pearl ex powder. I simply pressed the stamp into the clay and brushed the powder over it :)

This was the first one I did, kind of feel like changing it up a bit, I need some as bright as the gold pearl ex powder lol

Another polymer clay necklace, brushed duo red/blue over it

Upclose, the detail came out great!

I used a leoprint stamp and I shaped the area around it and I can't remember if it was bronze pearl ex or perfect pearls that I used.

Le Cirque Mini album

This is a 3rd anniversary, (we are no longer together however) mini album that I created last year using graphic 45 Le Cirque papers and things. I have yet to make the Wizard of Oz and Le Romantique albums. Below is the video along with some upclose pictures of the album:

Cover of the album, I might add something on the side just because it looks a little plain. I created the flowers using the Tim Holtz tattered flowers die for sizzix that I use in my cuttlebug. I got the die on sale, 40 off plus extra 25 off entire purchase at ac moore, I use it in my art classes as well lol

those stickers and die cuts are from K and Company, Amazing Savings carries those from 69 cents to a dollar

same here :D the little circus pics are from the 8 by 8 graphic 45 pads. The little hearts I created from the popcorn bowl (it was clean lol they kept the popcorn in a bag inside the bowl) using spellbinders.

The film strip sticker border is from K and company, I cut it and put small photos from the circus in it.

These are some plain charms I bought on ebay, about 10 or 12 for two dollars and free shipping! I've seen people sell these on etsy as 2 or 3 pieces for a few dollars. I cut and glued a small graphic 45 image(the page with all the tiny squares) and put glossy accents over it.

I cut the photo and a backing with the spellbinders die, I embellished the top part with feathers, brad, and vintage flower pieces. Btw the nail polish I have on is the magnetic one, 2 bucks and some change plus a free magnetic wand, I heard that sephora and claires sells theirs for over 10 and you get the same results. Love ebay!

Some more cameo necklaces with polyclay backing

These are some necklaces I made with the polymer clay mold, I did them a few weeks ago, finally got the chance to post lol!

The cameo here I got from Michaels, all the beads are from various stores, the usual ones I buy from

Upclose, I brushed pearl ex micropearl powder on it

Cameo from ebay, I blended yellow and red, you can see some lovely lines on it upclose

This is a german cameo I got from art cove, an olddd mom and pop store in Ridgewood, Queens. I love German cameos, practically because my great grandfather and those before him are from there as well as from several other places, really big mix when you're a Puerto Rican lol!

Another Michaels cameo got this one on clearance, its not of the greatest quality, but I tend to love cameos no matter what lol!

Upclose, the lines are amazing!

I had a leopard print pillow case (2 for a buck at conways) so I used that to try it out and it worked! It fits nicely a little loose but good, I used a leather sash belt thingy I got on ebay for two bucks plus free shipping. I need to take a better photo of it, the image got fuzzy since the brown on the skirt pulls out the brown from the floor lol.

I usually find awesome deals on ebay :D I tend to buy all sorts of random things from clothes to accessories.  I recently ordered a small frying pan that cooks eggs, pancakes etc into a heart shape for 3 bucks (on sale from 6 on the site) and free shipping! I also bought these egg molds, you can get them at 25 cents bidding, i saw them in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGzpLhflTfI I want to use them for the eggs but to make mini onigiris :D I'm thinking of planning an anniversary dinner/snack whatever if my dad doesn't do his yummy lasagna lol something else that I have been up to

I cut these flowers out with the Tim Holtz sizzix die tattered florals die on my cuttlebug, I forgot to show it with the lace I attached to it to tie it up around my neck. It makes an awesome floral/collar necklace! That's all for today, I have been doing other stuff, next few weeks are going to be pretty busy with finals and anniversary coming soon! :D
